It's official!

Today I had official confirmation of what I have known for a while and, I'm sure, others have suspected; I'm old. And the confirmation? I received my bus pass, which entitles me to free travel on buses in England for the rest of my life. Actually, it's not that great a benefit for me as our village only has a limited bus service which doesn't run at the times I would be most likely to use it. I think I've only used the service four times in the last couple of years, but I will still try and make sure I use it in future; after all, it's free!

Oddly enough, I may get to use it over the next day or so. My car is currently off the road awaiting a new water pump for the cooling system which, for some reason, didn't survive the snow last weekend. Thankfully, the car is under warranty so it won't cost me anything.
