Sunlit flowers

A beautiful sunny, blue sky day today and very mild. I love our breakfast room on a sunny morning, and this morning I particularly liked the sunlight falling across the flowers I bought the other day to bring some cheer and colour in the house. I went out to the Y towards noon for a swim, stopping off for a walk around Pioneer park on the way, to see if there were any photo opportunities, but I didn’t find anything better than my flowers. The pool was fairly quiet today, and I managed my full 50 lengths. Some odd jobs at home in the afternoon and a bit of knitting, then I went for a neighbourhood walk before dinner to get some more steps in!
