Amaryllis

My amaryllis continues to bloom .. I cut the stems from the bulb to give each of the eight large flower heads a bit more space. The first to bloom are now beginning to wither but there are still five beautiful flowers for me to enjoy.

A very chilly, damp day .... even the birds stayed away from the bird feeders in the garden.

A big day tomorrow ..... a dental appointment rescheduled from last week AND the delivery of my new washing machine also rescheduled from last week ... how excited can one get at the prospect of doing loads of washing that has accumulated for about 10 days!
