Twisty Tree
Partner at work. too much snow and ice around for a bike ride. During breakfast, partner points out a neighbour's roof, Extra. The snow is slowly falling from the roof. On the over hang footprints can be seen in the snow. You can also see that it is snowing again.
After putting the washing on (Sunday is bedsheet day), I go for a walk in the nearby woods. On a wee knoll, thare's a twisty tree that seems to have three arms pointing in the same direction.
After lunch I go to meet my partner at Cameron Toll. Instead of getting the bus,I opt to walk through the Hermitage of Braid. I was hoping to see some spectacular ice formations along the burn, but there aren't any. The Hermitage, Extra 2, looks nice in the snow. The path is a bit tricky though. The snow has been packed down by people walking through the Hermitage. I make it out the other side. The paths have been cleared.
Cameron Toll is a bit quiet, my partner and I have coffee, then wander around the shops.
The snow is melting quite fast on our way home. Slushy.
