They are here!

Good news, after two scary attempts at landing in the heavy cloud at Leeds Bradford late last night, Tomas and Marketa are now here and beginning to relax.

Today we had a leisurely start and much chat over breakfast which involved introducing Marketa to the delights of porridge and golden syrup (!) before driving to Haworth for lunch at Cobbles and Clay, followed by a walk around the village and a visit to the Parsonage to learn about all things Bronte. 

Back home, Tomas and Marketa had some down time whilst Tony prepared dinner and I went out for a run with the Hobblers.  Chicken casserole and local craft beers sampled and consumed, we are now settling down to further our Bronte day by watching 'To Walk Invisible' and completing the jigsaw.
