Car wash

First day of a new job today for the husband! I've actually been a bit envious of him, going to a smart City office, meeting lots of new people, tea and coffee on tap.....  The good news is that all seems to have gone well and it looks like it's been a really good move. Phew, breathe a sigh of relief. 

We went to playgroup this morning, I think it's time to accept that I'm the organiser designate. 

As the husband left for work this morning, the eldest asked if he could wash the car (well trained that boy!). This afternoon, I learnt that promising him 'we'll do it this afternoon', now means that he remembers what was promised - no more using that trick!  We had a rather jolly time outside, the eldest thought that his toy car needed a clean as well.
