The Ford

The River Darent at Eynsford was quite high today. I have never driven through the ford but the BMW in the near distance drove through at speed just after I returned to my car after I had taken this photo. The water covered most of his car as he rushed through and I would have been drenched had I stopped to watch him.

The snow has mostly gone. Our lane is awash with mud and sticks from branches. The water hose used for the chicken field finally defrosted this afternoon and they were pleased to have their pools refilled with fresh water.

May the mild weather continue and we can all return to some normality in our lives.
