Monday: Clearing Out

Our cat sitter invited us over tonight to meet her three cats.  They are fantastic - completely unrelated and yet they look absolutely identical.  Three big black and white bags of floppiness!  And our cat sitter, Dijana, is fast becoming a friend.  Tonight was the first time we were invited to a Croatian home so that felt special.

On the way home we stopped off at the Chinese for a portion of curry noodles.  Note the rubbish in the street - this is pretty much on every street corner at the moment.  Once a month, they have here what is called 'Roma Day' where everyone throws out their bulky rubbish and the Roma come in from the countryside and remove it.  What they don't take, the city will remove and this will be gone in the next day or two.
