Although I have blipped this view before I have not done it in snow.  I noticed that the ice flows on yesterday’s river have now melted but there is still plenty of snow for sledging and some children with sledges can be seen in the distance by the trees. The slope below Dalkeith House is an ideal place as there are a variety of slopes with short slight slopes which are suitable for young children to a long steep one where many, including adults, tumbled off on their way down.
