Snowday #3

I needed to get out for a walk without children this morning so met up with a friend for a walk. It was beautiful in the Penicuik Estate - the wind had blown over any footprints so we walked through pristine snow. The paths were over a foot deep so it was hard going. At one point it was so deep that her dog had to swim through it as it came half way up our thighs. My blip is of the frozen river - something I’ve never seen before.
Later on I took the boys sledging. We met up with friends and they had a great time sledging over jumps. Both were shattered later and were sent to bed promptly!
