Sweat, Tears and Triumph

Back from a "Lates" event at the Science Museum in South Kensington. As well as access to the usual exhibits there were lots of extra themed activities, talks and demonstrations.

Despite of the heavy snow, the place was buzzing.

The main photo was one of a number of activities to learn about GSK and their efforts to fight malaria.

The extras are:

Marcel Hirshman - president of England Deaf Rugby Union who was promoting the Deafolympics and showing how deaf people miss out in the sporting world.

It was snowing heavily when I left and compacted snow made the pavements like skating rinks.
