ABSTRACT ON ICE
My entry for the Abstract Thursday Challenge. Huge thanks to Ingeborg for hosting this wonderful challenge.
It was obvious that we would not go for a long walk. Not only the temperature again so low under zero, but there also blew a cold wind.
In the morning we had seen floating swiftly big round ice floes in the river Weser, and I thought that I could find a pretty abstract there.
However when we came in the afternoon at the shore there were still some floating, but not as many as in the morning.
The two forms in my picture I saw in the ice at the shore, and I found these intriguing, and that is why this became my abstract.
We walked for a while through the streets of our town, visited the new supermarket (Nahkauf) and went home soon enough.
