A Safe Haven

Neil and I said goodbye to his friends from Australia this morning, then we headed to Muiravonside Country park near Linlithgow where we strolled around the sculpture trail there. This really struck a chord with me. With all that's going on in my life at the moment, a safe haven - or an island - is a necessity to keep me sane. Being with Neil is my island. He's my safe haven. The current horrors of real life are forgotten when I'm with him.
