What are you doing there?

This clematis armandii is supposed to flower in the spring and as far as I'm concerned, spring it is not!
I only noticed as I walked by and was treated to a gorgeous fragrance of vanilla which I traced back to these little blooms. Perhaps it's a sign that summer is on the way............or perhaps not!
