The Beast bites!

Visited or friends about 6 miles away yesterday afternoon and evening and had a bit of a scary return home as the snow was coming down again.

White out this morning with continuing snow showers throughout the morning. At this point in time I should be at Pilates but that has been cancelled so I haven't been out.
We've had a picture of the roads from our son who is driving an 18 tonne truck today. Not his normal job and not much fun but it will be warmer than he would be working on vehicles in the open workshop.

I have been watching the birds. Lots of Siskins at the front garden feeders and other small birds like Great Tits.

At the back I was watching four black birds who like the moo upmthe seeds that the smaller birds drop. In today's blip this blackbird decided he was going to dig through the snow to the seeds on the grass beneath.

There have been one or two bright moments and sightings of blue sky but th snow isn't finished yet! Might manage a walk up to the pub at teatime!
