Arrived in New Orleans

So, the journey starts. We had an uneventful, but tiring, 10 hour flight from the UK. All was going well until we went to collect the hire car. I had forgotten how complex US credit and debit card options can be. They only wanted credit cards. After 2 hours, we left the airport. Finally got to the hotel in town. The rooftop bar was very welcome. This is the view. The beer was good as well.
