Cosy

I went to nursery today and managed without my back brace. Wearing it for most of yesterday seems to have performed a minor miracle, and I'm feeling much less pain and limitation of movement. Hurrah.

Work is tough at the moment, but my performance review went well. The savoury flapjacks were a hit, at least the making of them was. My 1970s rotary cheese grater proved popular.

1970s class: I still hadn't read The History Man, but we watched excerpts from the 1981 TV series of the same name. I Ithink I'll move on: Abigail's party next week.

Sold some greetings cards, to make up for Saturday's market stall washout. As for snow, there's not much of it actually lying. Thursday is the day when it might hit us. I was sort-of expecting a courier delivery of my father's Mexican records, but that did not arrive either. Waiting ..

Oh, and this is the dining room table, with a few effects thrown in. It's easier to watch TV on my Mac right now, in a dining room chair, than on the sofa, which I have to climb out of.
