An axe to grind

I missed the gorgeous light this morning, but managed 8000 steps walking over to the garden centre to buy something to sharpen my axe. On the way back there was a brief moment of sunshine on the lake by Hinksey Park.

Axe duly sharpened I split some logs for the fire tonight. Not much snow here.... a few flurries around 5pm but it didn't stick.
