Work in progress

A while ago I booked myself onto a wildlife drawing workshop at Pulborough Brooks and that’s where I was today. It was really good: we learned a number techniques, sketched lapwings and a snipe from a hide, and drew this barn owl with coloured pencils. My pencils were watercolour ones which were a present from my colleagues when I left my day job so the bottom right picture is what happened when I applied water.

I had a really nice day with some lovely people and learned a lot (and realised how much I still have to learn!).
