Danger, MOUSE!

The girls at the sleepover woke at 7.15am and got dressed. Thankfully they were pretty tired and therefore quiet and spent the morning playing on the iPads, phones and listening to music.

After the party bags had been given out and her friends left Jeanne announced "That was AWESOME"

So...it was all worth it.

Lily went to Blackpool for the day and we headed up to see my mum for her birthday meal. Such a massive improvement from her last birthday when she was going through awful chemo and very very poorly. She said "This time last year..I didn't think I'd be here now"

We all tucked into lovely food, my parents bickered and the girls ate more ice cream than I thought possible.

On the way out we all looked at the view and did a bit of cloud spotting - the mouse loomed large in the graphite sky.

After cake and candles - home with sleepy girls and an evening watching Rome.
