Shadows...

Shadows mean sunshine is being blocked! Simplified science!

At just before 5pm the light was still strong upstairs in the back of the house and I love the shadows it made. This was Joff's bedroom when we moved here long ago and he was an Oakley sunglasses fan. Hence the window sticker! It is STILL there! We just no longer notice it.....

Haircut first thing this morning and then a visit from a young man to check our measurements for the new bedroom curtains and some track and hanging decisions made, and the go-ahead given. 

The daffodils are almost out! Spring must follow this cold spell. And I learnt today there is a special name for snowdrop enthusiasts. I will look it up and remind myself. Apparently it's a very compulsive habit...
