Too good to miss....

Glorious sunshine today but temperatures with the wind chill have been below freezing!

As the week is forecasting possible snowfalls and a different colour scheme, we decided to take the MGF to Chartwell after a warming Sunday dinner. The roof remained firmly UP though, although we did see braver sorts travelling topless. 

The view across the lake is always beautiful and the strong blue and green and brown contrasts today seemed to enhance the beauty. COLD though and even the geese stayed clear of the water. 

The restaurant was well busy and the hot chocolate was delicious! 

My extra shows Chartwell in shadow. It's undergoing some renovation but was still open for visitors.
