Beachglass

Adam started collecting 'beach glass' on holiday - the little pieces of smooth glass you find on the beach that have washed up alongside the pebbles and shells. Andy found one piece that was part of the bottom of a whisky bottle from South African Distilleries. Of course it's possible that it was dropped off a boat just a few miles out to sea, but I prefer to imagine that bottle slowly making it's way up the African coastline before breaking into pieces and being slowly ground smooth by the relentless waves and sand.
