Muro

Muro is an old town situated on a hilltop, a few miles inland from the beach resort that bears its name. The enormous church here was closed unfortunately, so we couldn't find out if its still possible to walk the bridge which, unusually, connects it to the bell tower. We enjoyed a tapas lunch in the square before sampling one of the cakes which are specialities of the town then spending some time on the beach.
