Back To The Beginnings
We visited Lacock today with my sister and brother-in-law, the home of William Fox Talbot. This is the oriel window which was the subject of one of his earliest photographic experiments; the negative is apparently the earliest surviving photographic negative.
A sepia version seemed appropriate, especially for blip no. 800.
The Abbey cloisters and house are fascinating but it was raining so hard we had to leave the village, setting for many films, for another day.
