FAITH

Tricky day for the word of the day but we did make progress in our trip back to DFW as I, once again relied on the aviation weather forecasts to go as far as I could without being affected by the really bad weather happening over where we normally live. We ended up in Lubbock, TX even though the weather there was not good enough when we took off - the forecast turned out to be spot on once again. I have always been somewhat skeptical of weather forecasts but the highly analytical and locally specific forecasting that exists for pilots has been extremely reliable to the point that I have ‘faith’ we will finally make it back to DFW tomorrow afternoon!
