Still in Denver Wednesday morning - Winter Storm Oliver is the culprit - large swathes of rain, snow, icy rain, sleet accompanied by thunderstorms all across the South, Central and North East of the US are making flying very tricky. But as the clear skies in Denver gave us a window to take off, I spent an hour or so studying weather charts in ‘search’ of a place closer to DFW that we could aim for whilst remaining safe and out of the worst of the weather. I chose Lamar Colorado and this picture shows the Rockies receding into the background as we knocked a chunk of our journey on the head. Hoping for more tomorrow!
