Standing up

Title taken from Carl just telling Anna she needs to do standing up practise with the bass as well as sitting down.

Seems apt she has to do some standing up as the three of us have done our fair share at Jackson’s parents’ evening. Obviously all very lovely to actually be at a secondary school parents’ evening for him so will try very hard not to focus on the inefficiency of 1.5hrs to see 4 teachers....and will focus on the lovely things they said instead. Oh and the amusement of listening to the teacher who gave a good impression that she had no idea he had missed any school at all...

The rest of the day happened at a joyously leisurely pace in contrast to the last couple and included coffee with a good friend and more reading.

And we’re all good on our standing up practise.
