Hamster cheek needs dentist!

(Backblip from yesterday) Well the business of the day yesterday was to find an English speaking dentist, which proved very easy. My poor husband has been suffering from toothache since Saturday. We've been on the waiting list for a NHS dentist in UK for 18 months since we moved back to UK! Called the NHS emergency dentists for both Cornwall and Devon. .....they didn't have any appointments available!!!! Went to the only local private dentist.....he was away on a course and the practice only has one dentist! !! So we had to wait until we got to Spain. Spoilt for choice here. There are loads of dental practices. Ok so it cost €100 but that was to saw dental bridge in two places in order to remove the offending tooth (which had cracked and got infected). Now he's antibiotics to treat the infection. He will have to wait a month before a new bridge can be fitted......or ten years until we get an NHS dentist. Lol. I think the days of NHS dentistry in the UK are numbered, particularly in Cornwall.
