Indecision

Another beautiful sunny day. Cold out of the sun (1⁰c early morning) but feeling warmer than the official 7⁰c in the sun at lunchtime.

We (the Teenager and I) were out pounding the streets all morning on community engagement duty, and for once it was a real pleasure. People were outside! And smiling!

I bought her lunch on the way back to the office and she picked my brains about Berlin, Prague, Amsterdam and Paris for her upcoming InterRail holiday. It was quite fun remembering that kind of trip when I was her age.

I decided to have a chicken salad and then she ordered the French toast with bacon and maple syrup. I realised immediately that this wouldn't work, and I'd be miserable. Changed my order to have the same as her. A very smart move. Delicious.
