living in the present moment

It has been a great day, starting with Bible study in the morning, followed by creative projects in the afternoon. Suddenly the sun was setting (behind a freezing fog) and I realized I hadn't taken a photo yet!
So here is a shot of some bird prints in the snow on the back deck. Quite unintentionally, I focused on the middle distance, leaving the foreground and background in a blur. This is a good reminder for me to focus on the present, leaving the past behind and not worrying about the future.
