It didn't hurt!

An appointment with the surgery nurse established we needed fresh tetanus, typhoid and polio jabs. We also learnt some immunisation is good for 25 years!

The nurse was intrigued that I wanted to take a photo for a journal. Apparently, patients often make a note of the batch number, just in case!

I collected one book from Waterstone's this morning then did a bit more browsing. I succumbed to another of Victoria Hislop's novels. I've just finished The Sunrise and have learnt lots about the history of Cyprus. She has also written about Spinalonga, the once leper colony island off Crete, and Thessaloniki. Much Greek history well worth the reading.

This evening we've been to the first week of our Lent group. We just about fitted into our host's lounge...which is big!
