Later from this early shot, the huge force of the flow down the beck met the strength of the hungry tide as it sought to rise to high winter levels. The effect as both met head on was quite something. The net impact was that the water from the moors continues to blast down the valley and the sea just pounds in with its relentless authority. There is no ground given and all is well.

That said, I don’t live next to the beck...
