Tulip

I was given some gorgeous flowers by the guests who came for dinner last Saturday. This is a close up of one of the tulips - very beautiful flowers. It would have been even more beautiful if I'd set up the tripod and macro lens but I just used my compact camera - too busy for any faffing.

For once, I'm easily beating the midnight curfew. I'm off to judge at Marlow this evening so late back; it's an hour's travel after they finish which is likely to be 10 or later. A judge's life is not easy so bear that in mind when you criticise - we do this in our own time for no financial gain apart from travel cost. It's great fun though and a privilege to see so many wonderful images and ideas.
