An amazing sparkly morning
I headed off fairly early to walk along the coastal path to the fishing village of Camara de Lobos. It was stunningly beautiful and I love hearing the waves crash and clatter over the black volcanic rocks and pebbles.
(Extra) There is an old bake house just before Churchill’s favourite view that is now being ruined by Pestana with their new hotel. There is a little house built on the top and a group of cats live there. They’re pretty wild and I was amused to see a tourist holding her hand out to them. “You have to have courage,” she said, as one of the cats managed to connect with her arm. I managed to resist saying that a tetanus jab would also be useful !
