On the Wall

I have had a very interesting day attending a talk organised by the Digital Imaging Group of the Royal Photographic Society for the Thames Valley region. The speaker for the day was Vanda Ralevska - a brilliant photographer who has a full-time day job as an IT consultant. Vanda likes early morning shots and does a lot of long exposures on a tripod - she was inspirational. Her talk was very professional being both informative and entertaining - look up her work.

The talk was held in a community centre in Wokingham and this is lichen growing on a wall outside. I grabbed this shot whilst nipping out to the adjacent supermarket to get some lunch. One thing Vanda said was to take all opportunities for images as they came; this was the chance for a blip.
