Happy Birthday to the delightful Husband

37 he turned today. It was a horror of a day weather wise, so him and the girls spent the day with lego tipped all over the lounge floor. I pottered about getting the house sorted for the evening meal which we shared with both sets of our parents, plus an unexpected extra...our 3 year old niece.

Dinner was absolutely lush, roast lamb with all the trimmings, followed up by strawberries and my Crouching Tiger Hidden Zebra birthday cake, which was AMAZING!

The girls have gone to stay with Grandma and Daddad, along with the wee niece, so lord alone knows if sleep is going to happen. We've been told to pick them up tomorrow night and to come for dinner. Awesome! Sleep in and no cooking tomorrow night!!!

Now to find the bottom of the bottle of wine that the Husband and I have.
