Kingsbarns
Mr Rat wanted a long run today and decided some of the Fife Coast Path would be good so I went along as well and did 9 miles instead of his 22. It was generally bright and at times the sun was full out and the breeze was gentle - though picked up a bit when coming back against it. The second extra is the Isle of May from near Fife Ness, I like its cloud.
I was not quick, there are bits where you have to walk over rocks and I stopped to take photos, but the parts where running was more straightforward my speed was okay.
Whilst waiting for for Mr Rat to finish I then the other way along the coast for about 3 miles with my SLR and stopped to take pics of the waves breaking and had a tasty toastie from the van by the carpark.
After he got back and had his toastie we went along the road to the Cambo Snowdrop Festival. The woods are carpets of white with areas of aconites, too. Very beautiful but hard to get decent photos, but I did get a nice one of some irises - see first extra (it wouldn't load them in the right order).
An energetic day but well worth it
