Vantage Point
We had sunshine today, and it was warm - as long as you stayed out of the wind and the shadows.
Up at Smailholm Tower there were clear views of the Cheviot, still with a dusting of snow. That's the extra.
The Tower was shut today, so after a walk around the hilltop, we headed down to the shelter of Dryburgh Abbey and then somehow found ourselves in St Boswells, for a coffee and a browse at Mainstreet Trading.
Now the stove is on and the cats are sprawled in front of it. And I found some forgotten mince pies in the freezer, which obviously must be dealt with. I wish all winter days could be like today.
