A Timely Appearance

Most of today was devoted to getting the house ready to receive Son No 1 and family for the weekend. 

Over the winter a lot of my projects have been creeping in from the room over the garage and taking over the spare bedrooms (it's too cold for an electronic sewing machine out there - and pretty chilly for me too). 

So I made many journeys up and down the path, and all is more or less where it should be. And I'm ready for a sit-down and a glass of something restorative.

The yellow cymbidiums have come into flower just as the last of the red ones faded, providing today's blip.
