NZ Day 7, It’s very green

This is a photo of the lodges where we have been staying. We opted for a quiet day today. We walked to the source of the local river, the Resurgence, and then we walked a path among the 50 acres of land belonging to the owners who emigrated from England in 2003 and bought the land here with an old property on it which they restored and turned into four accommodation units. The six lodges were added later. The first extra is a baby fledging which will no doubt be predated and the second one of the fantail birds I have been trying to get a half decent shot of, they are rather quick.
