Macro Phonography

Coffee with a friend this morning lead to some playing around with tiny lenses for the mobile phone. I find it tricky to keep the phone still enough to take a half decent photograph. This macro had the lens almost touching the object - it had to be really close to get the focus. Different and fun but, for me, the phone will never take the place of a camera. What about someone designing a camera that can make phone calls rather than a phone that can take photos?

Camera Club tonight was an informal critique night.  Members could bring a few images on usb pens and a few of the more experienced members using laptops offered advice and help for improving an image.
