Kodak Retina S2

This camera, manufactured in Germany between 1966 and 1969, appears to be Kodak’s last Retina model. It has a coupled selenium meter giving convenient manual adjustment of exposure, but like most old selenium meters, it’s no longer working. The lens is 45 mm f/2.8 – f/22, and shutter speeds are from 1/30 to 1/250 sec, with B and flash settings also. There is a hot shoe, and also a connector for the newly developed flashcube. Focussing is manual (no rangefinder), with settings from 1 m to 6 m and infinity. It’s rather low specification, compared to many of the earlier Retinas , but it’s still a well made camera.
