Blue Tit

Another day of mixed weather, heavy rain when we got up and during the day sunshine and snow heavy at times.  Certainly not  day to tempt me to do much outside.

Thankfully the birds seem to be returning in better numbers, nowhere near the numbers we had last year that could empty a feeder in less than a day, but many more than a couple of weeks ago.  With good numbers there is always some activity birds flying to the feeder or bickering for places on the feeder.

I decided to try for a few shots of them either in flight or bickering.  This needed a high ISO to stop the movement so I have had to put up with the noise in the shot.  I think this is possibly my best bird in flight shot ever.
