Rowantreethwaite Beck
Not the best of weather but we had agreed with my brother to go out for a photography day. One of the main reasons for the day was to give him chance to familiarise himself with his late wife's camera.
As we approached Haweswater it was very misty and murky. However we persevered and tried some landscape shots. Then we moved a little further up the valley to the strangely named Rowantreethwaite Beck (and yes the OS do write it as one word).
By this time the weather was a little brighter and we played around with silky water shots and trying to freeze the motion. Freeze motion was hard due to the very dull weather. Then it was back to the studio for lunch and some processing and macro work.
All in all a very enjoyable day.
