After a period of intense interrogation under a not particularly hot LED desk lamp the Almond Butter finally admitted to being ... smooth :-)

Emergency Blip!

Finally managed to rebuild my laptop this afternoon, having taken it apart in June!  A new SSD to replace the failed old one, and and more memory should give it a new lease of life.
Having said that - I do have three small screws left over :-(
