Tiny Tuesday - Smoothly Done

Tuesday's theme is "smooth" and I think the smoothest part of the photo was getting the flippin' things to balance in the first place! 

I have a compulsion for collecting water smoothed pebbles; there's probably a name for that. I have quite a collection now. They remind me of days at particular places: beaches I've trod in this country and others... started with Horace, who I picked up when I was six and who has travelled life's rich raspberry alongside me.

They are smooth and yet, when you look closely, they aren't. Stood precariously on the lensball, which is entirely smooth, they reflect that conflict quite well.
