Thomas - Dinosaur artist

We had to get up at 6 am (which was a bit of a shock to the system) in order to arrive at Whitley Bay in time for #2 daughter to leave with James for nursery, then on to work. It is half term, so we had Thomas. Mr C played with him for a while as I needed to go to the second-hand toy shop to get Ella a pirate hat for her world book day characters. (My Granny is a Pirate by Val McDermit).

Then we headed to the Hancock which was very busy with families. Thomas (5) says he wants to be a dinosaur artist when he is grown up, so he settled down with sketch pad and pencil by TRex. He decided the whole thing was too much, but had a try at the head. Here he is studying it carefully then trying to commit what he sees to paper.

We had a quick bite to eat then went to #3 daughter’s as the second cousins were coming from Kelso and Northallerton for the afternoon. They are aged from 4 to 13, and had a noisy time playing hide and seek.

On duty again tomorrow.
