Chinatown

The weather forecast was for warm temperatures and rain today.  We certainly got the warmth (over 50 F!), but so far no rain.  I was hoping to take some night time wet street shots of Chinatown, but unfortunately you only get the night time part.

Main image shows the Chinatown Gate (paifang), a gift to the city of Boston from Taipei.  The two foo lions on either side protect Chinatown from evil forces.  The extra shows a large crowd of eager diners waiting their turn to enter the Gourmet Dumpling House.  I've never eaten there, but I am guessing their food must be very good!  Either that, or some celebrity like the Patriots' Tom Brady might have been inside enjoying dinner.  Cars were double parked outside the storefront, and there had to have been at least 50 people on the sidewalk.
