Bizarre

I received this in the internal post today.  20 Euro voucher for teaching 2 courses last year.  Wasn't expecting that at all.  

It basically says "Many thanks for you engagement for the It-Academy in 2017" and "this is a thank you from the department, And we look forward to an exciting 2018 with you."

it was a bright part of an otherwise grey day.  A day that ended 2 hours later than hoped because I had to help someone with what I think is an easy problem, but is simply one of those things that some people can't grasp.  As ever, I have miles more patience with other people than I do with myself.  So I went to visit him and we sorted the problem "together".

I have the next best thing to a long weekend now.  I'm working from home on Monday to avoid the people coming back from Mainz.  And not just the ones in costume.
